Getting Started with Bookshare
Bookshare is a great tool available for students with IEPs and special educators. Teachers with access can download and assign books used in class to students who have been assigned an account. Students with access are able to download the books and textbooks they are using in class and take notes right in the online book. You can also listen to the audio while following along or taking notes. Other great features including the dictionary allows students to look up right away any words they don't know to get the most out of what they are reading. Bookshare can be accessed from an online browser so you can sign in anywhere and pick up right where you left off!
