eduCanon Tutorial - The Perfect Substitute

eduCanon is a mostly free use service that allows you to create a quiz within a video. eduCanon allows you to take a video, from a URL or any of the sources they personally recommend, and then edit it to fit your students' needs. A teacher can add questions throughout the entire video. These questions can be multiple choice, select all, or reflective. If you choose to purchase eduCanon's other service, there are sundry types of questions available.

This is a great service for teachers if there are sick days but they still want their students to be actively engaged with the material at hand. It is also a great tool to show something like a documentary, because it allows the creator to crop. This makes the video short enough to understand and taking away the lull of a lengthy documentary. The accessibility of the classrooms on eduCanon is an added bonus that allows students and teachers to have one place to view videos and see immediate results. Below is a video tutorial of how a teacher can utilize eduCanon.
