We're Growing Thanks to the Reading Education Foundation

Rockets Help Desk student techs Megan Catalano and Julia Donohue co-wrote a grant for the Reading Education Foundation in January of this year.  We just found out that the grant was fully funded, along with many other great initiatives from around the district.

This grant will provide the student techs of Rockets Help Desk with their own hardware and software specifically designed to help them carry out the mission of our program.  They will be able to respond more quickly to faculty and student technology integration requests and the media they produce will be professional quality.

Since our course elective proposal was accepted by administration and the School Committee, we are looking forward to growing our program and its impact across the district during the 2015-2016 school year.
